Arizona Water Company retained Matrix and our partners to conduct an analysis to determine which projection period assumptions should be modified in Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR)’s 2019 100-year Assured Water Supply (AWS) Projection of the Pinal Active Management Area (AMA) Groundwater Flow Model. Additionally, Matrix and the team were tasked  to collect and prepare all necessary data to support the modifications, to conduct modeling to determine the impact of each modification, and to prepare a comprehensive report documenting the methodology and the results.
