Geotechnical Transportation Support
Matrix was a member of the project team for the construction of NJ Transit’s electrical microgrid. Matrix served as the geotechnical engineer overseeing the subsurface investigation program. The subsurface investigation consisted of a total of 35 geotechnical borings in Kearny and Hoboken. Throughout the subsurface investigation, boring logs were developed, soil laboratory testing was obtained for various soil parameters including electrical and thermal resistivity and soil corrosivity, and a final geotechnical data report was developed.
