Matrix serves as the Engineer of Record for redevelopment of the former Marine Ocean Terminal at Bayonne (MOTBY) facility.

As Special Projects Engineer for the City, Matrix provides technical review and oversight of all private construction projects and serves as a facilitator for redevelopers’ interactions with City departments, the NJDEP, and other regulatory agencies. As the property’s designed Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP), Matrix also oversees the complex remediation of the property and subsequent approvals necessary to return it safely to productive use.

During our period of engagement with the City, Matrix designed and oversaw construction of unique and challenging improvements, including: Comprehensive Site Elevation, Utility Decommissioning and Replacement, Shoreline Restoration, as well as design, permitting, procurement, and construction administration.
