Matrix provided engineering and surveying services to the State of New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management & Construction for the replacement of the existing septic system at the nine Atsion Lake Cabins in Wharton State Forest. The proposed redevelopment of this site includes the construction of 8 septic field to service cabins 1 through 9, with cabins 7 and 8 having a combined septic field.

After a site walk-through and evaluation, Matrix decided that individual dosing systems on mounded beds were appropriate. Matrix completed a geotechnical engineering investigation with the purpose of advancing soil profile pits to evaluate permeability rates within the 8 proposed septic system areas.
