Matrix Named A CIANJ ‘2024 Companies That Care’ Award Recipient

Florham Park, NJ — Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix) was chosen as one of the award recipients of the 2024 Companies That Care. This prestigious competition was held by the Commerce & Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ).
This award was given to Matrix in recognition of their philanthropic efforts, specifically with Passaic Science and Engineering High School and Jersey Cares. Matrix established a mentoring program with the Passaic Science and Engineering High School, and their professionals visit the school and mentor students to encourage them to pursue careers in STEM. As part of this program, Matrix staff donated their expertise to guide students with hosting their first City of Water Day event in 2023. They helped students and administrators apply for and win a City of Water Day grant and assisted in planning the itinerary and marketing materials for the event.
Matrix regularly teams with Jersey Cares for their annual coat drive in the winter and annual school supply drive in the summer. Over the past two years, Matrix employees have collected and donated over 100 coats, as well as several boxes of school supplies.
The award ceremony was held at Nanina’s in the Park in Belleville, NJ. The event was attended by decision makers, business owners and prominent individuals who met with the goal of celebrating the accomplishments of distinctive and innovative enterprises.
CIANJ & COMMERCE Magazine saluted charitable good works and corporate philanthropy – with a special emphasis on how business makes a difference in the community.
