Matrix New World Engineering Receives NYC Public Design Commission 'Excellence in Design' Award

Engineering firm accepts honors for outstanding projects.

Florham Park, NJ — Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix) received the Bushwick Inlet Park NYC Public Design Commission Excellence in Design Award. Matrix, as part of the Abel Bainnson Butz (ABB) team, has just been awarded an NYC PDC Excellence in Design Award for their work on the Bushwick Inlet Park Motiva Parcel project. Matrix was responsible for topographic and hydrographic surveys, civil and marine engineering, and environmental permitting for the project.

Since 1983, the Public Design Commission (PDC) has recognized outstanding public projects with its Annual Awards for Excellence in Design. Matrix New World Engineering was selected from hundreds of submissions reviewed by the Commission. This recognition highlights Matrix’s excellence in the design of public architecture and solving environmental challenges, leading all towards a better future.

According to Jayne Warne, PE, President, “We are thrilled to be selected for this wonderful acknowledgment.  It is a great privilege to be given the opportunity to create a beautiful place that people can enjoy while also sustaining the shoreline and surrounding areas for future generations.”
