Consolidated Edison – Ramapo to Rock Tavern Transmission Line – Feeder 76 Project, Environmental Monitoring & SWPPP Inspection Services, Orange & Rockland Counties, New York

Matrix New World Engineering (Matrix), was retained as a subcontractor to provide expert on-site environmental monitoring services and stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspection services to the client associated with the construction of the Ramapo to Rock Tavern (RRT) Transmission Line – Feeder 76 Project in the counties of Orange and Rockland in New York. Feeder 76 project includes: installation of 11.8 miles of overhead 345 kV transmission line between the Sugarloaf Substation and the Rock Tavern Substation; expansion of Con Edison Ramapo Substation and Central Hudson Rock Tavern Substation; and installation of a 345 kV/138 kV step-down transformer in the vicinity of the existing 138 kV Sugarloaf Substation.
